About Scott Sumner


Scott Sumner was recently named one of the Top 100 Global Thinkers by Foreign Policy (tied for 15th with Ben Bernanke). He has been called the “blogger who saved the economy” by Atlantic Magazine and credited by The Economist with causing a “shift in monetary policy” by the Federal Reserve last September. Sumner has been a member of the faculty at Bentley since 1982 and currently serves as a tenured professor in the Economics Department.
